Camillo, in the Old Town of Görlitz, stands for art-house film, small film productions and it supports regional filmmaking. The film program is carefully selected for each month - with the goal to provide entertainment while also making a social contribution. This is realized through thematic film series, festivals and cooperations.
The cinema has been operated since October 2015 by 'Die Rolle '94', a group which has committed itself to the support of cinematic arts and culture in Görlitz. Our team is made up of dedicated volunteer film-lovers and many, many helpers who are passionate about what they do and keep the cinema alive.
