Kunstbauerkino e.V. is a film association whose committed volunteers have run a small arthouse cinema with weekly film program since 1993. There are approximately six showings per week, primarily arthouse, documentary and children's films. In the summer there are also open-air showings as well as occasional concerts, readings, theater performances and lectures. Kunstbauerkino's goal is to offer this rural region an attractive cinema program which is varied, current and intercultural. It is only fitting that the Kunstbauerkino e.V. is also initiator and main organizer of the Neisse Film Festival. Thanks to inclusion funding, in 2017 the theater itself was equipped with a system for the blind and visually impaired as well as the deaf or hard-of-hearing, and two wheelchair ramps were built.
